Paediatric Basic Life Support
Paediatric Basic Life Support
Paediatric cardiac arrest requires a different approach to adult resuscitation, with important adaptations to assessment, CPR and emergency management.
This course is designed for healthcare professionals who care for infants and children and provides an understanding of the key differences between paediatric and adult life support. Delegates will explore not only what the differences are, but also the clinical reasoning behind the adaptations.
The course combines concise, evidence-based teaching with practical, scenario-based training. Delegates will have the opportunity to practise their skills on infant and child manikins, applying the principles of paediatric life support in realistic emergency scenarios.
The training is designed to develop knowledge, practical skills and confidence in responding to paediatric emergencies.
